Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026-era tech solutions (quantum algorithms, neuromorphic AI, carbon-negative computing)
- Architect scalable frameworks for autonomous systems with ethical guardrails
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to future-proof their digital infrastructure
- Drive patent development for at least 2 breakthrough technologies annually
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging tech methodologies
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years leading tech R&D initiatives in AI/quantum/autonomous systems
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, QCE)
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and quantum algorithm design
- Track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulators (Qiskit)
- Experience securing NSF/DARPA grants
