Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with commercial viability
- Present future-tech insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and their impact on innovation ecosystems
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with demonstrable impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., Quantum Computing, AI Ethics)
