Responsibilities
- Architect 2026+ tech roadmap integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and bio-hybrid systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with teams in AI ethics, sustainable materials, and space tech
- Establish strategic partnerships with NASA, MIT Media Lab, and global climate tech accelerators
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Mentor PhD researchers and startup founders in our Austin innovation incubator
- Present future-vision whitepapers at Davos, Web Summit, and IEEE Global Tech Forums
- Secure $50M+ in government and private funding for moonshot projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Materials Science with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on post-2025 technological convergence topics
- Proven track record of scaling moonshot projects from concept to market ($100M+ impact)
- Deep expertise in ethical AI governance frameworks and UN SDG alignment
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and venture capital for frontier tech
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or quantum assembly)
- Speaker credentials at 3+ major global tech conferences (2021-2024)
- Certification in Future Studies from University of Houston or similar institution
