Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026-targeted technologies including quantum computing integration and AI autonomy frameworks
- Architect scalable solutions for emerging domains: decentralized ecosystems, bio-digital interfaces, and climate-positive tech
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and domain experts through full development lifecycle
- Establish strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Develop roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Drive patent development and IP protection for proprietary breakthrough technologies
- Present findings and roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience in emerging tech
- Proven track record leading complex R&D projects targeting 3-5 year horizons
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Strong background in agile methodologies and rapid prototyping of experimental systems
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Demonstrated ability to secure and manage multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published research or patents in future technology domains preferred
- Fluency in HTML, Python, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit/Cirq)
