Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to map 2026-2030 innovation landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into R&D roadmaps
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready principles into core offerings
- Author quarterly trend reports and executive briefings on disruptive forces
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D strategy
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence points
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Published thought leadership in emerging technology or futurism domains
