Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology, societal, and market shifts
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and investors
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging trends into development pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and industry trend reports
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on future innovation landscapes
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial strategies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- Experience working with Fortune 500 organizations on transformational projects
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP preferred)
