Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for post-quantum ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional labs in emerging domains (neuromorphic chips, climate-altering tech)
- Forecast market disruptions using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Forge strategic partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and global innovation hubs
- Present future-vision frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Secure $10M+ in federal grants for next-gen research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in our Future-Ready Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Systems Biology, or equivalent field
- 8+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ future-focused patents
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption curves
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum AI, nanotech, or climate engineering)
- Published in Nature Futures or equivalent forward-journal
- Security clearance for classified innovation projects
- Fluency in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and predictive modeling frameworks
