Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, bio-integrated systems)
- Lead cross-functional think tanks to identify disruptive opportunities in Web3.0, metaverse ecosystems, and climate tech
- Produce future scenario analyses and impact assessments for Fortune 500 partners
- Drive innovation sprints with NASA, MIT Media Lab, and CERN collaborators
- Architect patent portfolios protecting breakthrough intellectual property
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and foresight methodologies
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AGI safety protocols, and carbon-negative tech
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping commercial implementations
- Fluency in strategic scenario planning frameworks and system dynamics modeling
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
