Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting industries through 2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 innovation roadmap aligned with corporate strategic objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to ideate future-facing products and services
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive stakeholders using data-driven storytelling
- Monitor geopolitical, technological, and environmental signals affecting long-term business viability
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate emerging solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Build and nurture an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused product development
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience delivering executive-level strategic briefings
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-strategy initiatives
- Fluency in futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning frameworks)
- Certification in foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFIP, CIP) preferred
