Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap across quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and space-integrated systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams of 15+ engineers and scientists in rapid prototyping cycles
- Secure $5M+ in annual innovation grants through DARPA, NSF, and private sector partnerships
- Develop patentable solutions for next-gen human-machine symbiosis
- Present findings at global forums like Web Summit and IEEE Future Horizons
- Maintain strategic relationships with MIT Media Lab, SpaceX, and IBM Research
- Mentor PhD candidates in emerging technology ethics and implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Cognitive Neuroscience with 5+ years industry application
- Proven track record of shipping breakthrough technologies (3+ patents or major product launches)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning, neural interface protocols, or distributed autonomous systems
- Experience securing federal innovation grants ($2M+ value)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent tier
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design (Qiskit/IBM Q Experience)
- Security clearance eligibility (DOD/NSA preferred)
