Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, societal shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable solutions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready capabilities into development roadmaps
- Represent FutureWorks at global conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate foresight methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights
- Track record of influencing C-level strategy and driving organizational transformation
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable impact
