Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, societal trends, and market disruptions relevant to 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for organizational resilience
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future opportunities and risks
- Create detailed roadmaps for innovation initiatives spanning AI, quantum computing, and sustainable technologies
- Present actionable insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author thought leadership publications on future-shaping trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic roadmaps
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
- Experience with foresight tools like Delphi method, STEEP analysis, or causal layered analysis
