Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on future market opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align organizational vision with long-term trends
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Present future outlooks to stakeholders including investors, partners, and board members
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFrA) strongly preferred
- Portfolio of published trend analysis or scenario planning work
