We seek a visionary 2026 Futurist Strategist to architect our next-generation roadmap at the intersection of AI, biotechnology, and sustainable infrastructure. This role demands an architect of tomorrow who can translate emerging scientific breakthroughs into actionable corporate strategy while navigating the ethical implications of exponential technological change.
In this pivotal position, you will collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global policy think tanks to shape our 2026-2030 innovation agenda. Your insights will directly influence our $2B R&D pipeline and guide our entry into emerging markets defined by quantum computing adoption and climate adaptation technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify exponential opportunities in quantum AI, neuro-implant interfaces, and climate engineering
- Produce quarterly White Papers on disruptive technologies with 18-24 month adoption timelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Future Today Institute, and other futurism thought leaders
- Design and implement ethical governance protocols for autonomous systems and genetic editing technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and investor stakeholders
- Mentor the Innovation Lab team in futures thinking methodologies and systems analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent with 7+ years in technology strategy
- Proven expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Published thought leadership in futures research or strategic foresight (Harvard Business Review, MIT Press, etc.)
- Experience developing corporate roadmaps for 2025-2030 technology integration
- Deep understanding of global policy frameworks governing emerging technologies (UN AI Ethics, WHO biotech guidelines)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into compelling executive narratives
- Track record of influencing multi-billion dollar strategic decisions
