Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for organizational adaptation
- Present visionary insights to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready innovations into development pipelines
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic foresight effectiveness and market readiness
- Curate thought leadership content and industry speaking engagements
- Manage external partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing future scenario frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology ethics
- Experience with Delphi method, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network with futurist communities and innovation ecosystems
