Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech) and forecast industry impacts through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons for C-suite review
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for disruptive technology adoption
- Partner with R&D to prioritize future-focused R&D investments
- Author thought leadership on post-2025 technological convergence
- Build and maintain a global network of futurist researchers and industry pioneers
- Translate complex trend data into executive decision frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, climate tech, neurotech, or quantum systems
- Proven experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technological disruption
- Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI) for trend analysis
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-proofing initiatives implemented
