Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive trends and paradigm shifts relevant to 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-state opportunities and risks
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and predictive models for board-level decision-making
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and incubate next-generation startups
- Design innovation pipelines targeting 2026 market readiness windows
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and technology summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and signal detection
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) preferred
- Experience advising Fortune 500 or global enterprise leadership
