Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech to identify 2026+ market disruptors
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for multi-year product roadmaps
- Present future-state briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Quantify emerging market opportunities through data-driven forecasting models
- Author thought leadership publications on industry evolution
- Mentor cross-functional teams in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or innovation consulting with proven 5+ year horizon track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or equivalent field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of foresight into commercial outcomes
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, CFP) preferred
- Experience presenting to Fortune 500 executives and investment committees
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and scenario modeling software
- Published author or keynote speaker at global tech conferences
