Responsibilities
- Research and forecast emerging technological and societal trends through 2026 using scenario modeling and data analytics
- Develop comprehensive strategic frameworks for adoption of breakthrough innovations (quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech)
- Present future-state analyses to executive stakeholders with compelling visualizations and actionable recommendations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on 2026 vision and implementation pathways
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynote presentations) positioning the company as a future-ready leader
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes for early-mover opportunities
- Interface with venture partners and academic institutions to scout emerging talent and technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing, clean energy)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and futures research software
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major media outlets
