Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast 2026 market disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for organizations adapting to post-2025 digital ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development cycles
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Scan' reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Advose leadership on ethical governance frameworks for emerging technologies
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to capture frontier insights
- Mentor junior futurists and champion foresight methodologies across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or trend forecasting work
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience advising C-suite executives on technology-driven transformation
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFK, APF) strongly preferred
