Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to identify disruptive market shifts and competitive threats
- Design and facilitate executive innovation workshops using horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Author annual 'Future State' reports that inform $1B+ investment decisions
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Integrate sustainability and ethical impact frameworks into all strategic initiatives
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our internal Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in reputable journals or industry platforms
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning tools and trend analysis software
