Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 5-year technology foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Produce strategic roadmaps for AI integration, quantum computing adoption, and biotech breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational capabilities with future market demands
- Analyze geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors impacting long-term innovation cycles
- Present executive-level briefings on emerging disruption vectors and opportunity landscapes
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for future intelligence gathering
- Quantify future market opportunities through scenario modeling and predictive analytics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in AI/ML, biotech, or sustainable systems domains
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE) or advanced degree in relevant field
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex future concepts into executable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
