Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic roadmaps by analyzing emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and market disruptions
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify opportunities/threats in next-generation markets
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate breakthrough innovations with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through data-driven narratives
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure progress toward 2026 strategic objectives
- Monitor global policy/regulatory shifts affecting future technology adoption
- Build and lead a dedicated futurist task force across 5+ departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Technology, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR, APF) preferred
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Published thought leadership on future trends (whitepapers, journals, keynotes)
