Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces) and their business implications through 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making under uncertainty
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author predictive whitepapers and trend briefs distributed to Fortune 500 leadership
- Establish global partnerships with academic labs and government innovation initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through industry keynotes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related quantitative field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Published research on technological singularity or societal transformation scenarios
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Proficiency in simulation modeling tools (AnyLogic, Stella) and data visualization
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
- Clearance for US government innovation consortium participation
