Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 Innovation Roadmap across quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AI domains
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align strategic vision with exponential growth targets
- Develop future-proof business models and ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Manage a portfolio of moonshot projects with $10M+ annual R&D budgets
- Represent Nexus Horizon at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 8 years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption curves with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI, etc.)
- Exceptional systems modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leader in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Experience with ethical governance frameworks for transformative technologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent (e.g., WFS, APF)
