Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and market disruptions to identify strategic opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and impact assessments for emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on technology adoption roadmaps
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize innovation initiatives based on future market readiness
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess regulatory implications
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or relevant field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex initiatives
