Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and quantum computing to forecast 2026 industry disruptions
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation to future market conditions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on long-term vision and risk mitigation
- Author quarterly trend briefings and annual 2026 impact assessments for executive stakeholders
- Design innovation pipelines integrating emerging technologies into core business models
- Establish KPIs to measure strategic preparedness for 2026 technological and societal shifts
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and evaluate future-focused startups
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with ability to communicate complex scenarios
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategic adaptation
- Published thought leadership in futures studies or technology strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
