Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic frameworks for emerging technologies including AGI, quantum networks, and synthetic biology
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align technology roadmaps with market evolution forecasts
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption readiness and societal impact
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven narratives
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academic partners, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on long-term technology trends
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning or innovation leadership within tech sector
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist research or strategic frameworks
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
