Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Produce high-impact quarterly trend reports identifying disruptive technologies, market shifts, and socioeconomic catalysts
- Lead innovation workshops to generate and validate future-state concepts for product development and market expansion
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate foresight insights into technology roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investor groups with data-driven storytelling
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Champion a culture of future-readiness across the organization through training and thought leadership
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-level audiences
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with systems-level perspective
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects with measurable business impact
