Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends and market disruptions to forecast industry shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused innovation priorities
- Create scenario-based models for technology convergence and societal impact assessment
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-backed risk/benefit analysis
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles in R&D pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications on technological transformation and competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology
- Proven track record of developing long-term strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning skills with tools like Foresight Platform
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies journals
- Experience advising C-suite on exponential technology adoption strategies
