Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global tech/socioeconomic trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Author visionary whitepapers and executive briefings on future scenarios
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Quantify ROI for futuristic initiatives through predictive modeling
- Present strategic roadmaps to stakeholders and investor boards
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Strong data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Executive communication with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or strategic innovation
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
