Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal trends through 2026 using AI-driven trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum AI, neural implants, climate engineering)
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and executive teams to translate foresight into roadmaps
- Produce high-impact whitepapers and presentations for investor/board audiences
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and future-focused research institutes
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting 2026 tech adoption
- Design ethical governance frameworks for disruptive innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant technical field
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, AI trend platforms)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Clearance for government-level future intelligence projects
