Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and global megatrends to forecast 2026 business landscapes
- Develop comprehensive strategic frameworks and scenario-planning models for 5-10 year horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Present future outlooks to executive leadership and external stakeholders with compelling narratives
- Identify and assess disruptive threats/opportunities across industries and geographies
- Collaborate with R&D to align long-term technology portfolios with market evolution
- Establish KPIs and measurement systems for tracking strategic foresight accuracy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, biotechnology, climate tech, quantum computing, or neurotech
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic frameworks with measurable outcomes
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience facilitating C-level workshops and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Published thought leadership on future trends (white papers, industry journals, TED talks)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning, systems thinking)
