Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strategic foresight framework for 2026-2035 technological and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotech, and climate science domains
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports with predictive models and scenario planning
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in exponential technologies
- Design and implement innovation sprints to prototype future-state solutions
- Cultivate an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex foresight findings into executable business strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and exponential technology forecasting
- Published work in futurist journals or white papers on 2026+ predictions
- Proficiency with foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience advising C-suite on paradigm shifts and disruptive innovation
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
