- Present strategic forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for potential acquisition
- Coordinate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Author quarterly trend briefings for industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial strategy
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on future-tech topics
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
