Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop predictive models and scenario-planning frameworks for 3-5 year strategic horizons
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board committees
- Establish cross-functional innovation incubators for emerging opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Mentor next-generation futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-tech planning
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPC, AC/SCIP preferred)
- Portfolio of published future scenarios or innovation frameworks
