- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive innovations in AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Present strategic foresight briefings to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to track emerging research
- Design innovation roadmaps for new product development pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and their business implications
- Mentor cross-functional teams on integrating foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology roadmapping
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: AGI, synthetic biology, quantum computing
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Published research or thought leadership in future-focused publications
- Experience with horizon-scanning tools like Delphi methods or horizon scanning
