Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global mega-trends (2026-2035) across technology, geopolitics, and sustainability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Establish early-warning systems for disruptive market shifts and paradigm-breaking innovations
- Author visionary white papers and thought leadership for Fortune 500 partners
- Partner with R&D to incubate 2026-era product concepts and service architectures
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining industry thought leadership through keynotes and publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent with 8+ years of strategic planning experience
- Proven track record in predicting technological disruptions (examples: generative AI adoption, metaverse integration)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published forecasts that materialized within 3-5 years
- Experience in high-stakes industries (tech, healthcare, energy, or finance)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Thinking preferred
