Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across biotech, AI ethics, quantum computing, and climate resilience to identify 2026 inflection points
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients navigating exponential technology shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align 5-year strategic roadmaps with emerging paradigms
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces published in MIT Technology Review and Nature Futures
- Manage a portfolio of 3-4 emerging technology startups as part of our venture acceleration program
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global forums like Davos and Singularity University Summit
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary foresight methodology and trend-mapping tools
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience with 5+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record in developing 2025+ technology roadmaps for Fortune 100 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and weak signal detection frameworks
- Published author or keynote speaker at major innovation conferences (e.g., TED, Web Summit)
- Proficiency in foresight platforms like Foresight Platform, Gartner, or SFI models
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AGI, synthetic biology, quantum AI)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
