Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D pods prototyping AI-quantum hybrid systems
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries
- Partner with Stanford/MIT on future tech research initiatives
- Advocate for sustainable tech practices in product lifecycle design
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Expertise in at least 3 future-critical domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or generative AI
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial IP
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with focus on future studies
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ engineers
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for frontier technologies
