Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to develop 2026 technology roadmaps
- Produce strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive leadership
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into 5-year innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on emerging technology opportunities
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors impacting technology adoption timelines
- Represent the company at global tech forums and future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Proven track record of publishing disruptive tech predictions (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
