Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmaps for 2026-era technologies including quantum-resistant cryptography and neuro-interfaces
- Direct cross-disciplinary R&D teams in prototyping next-gen AI systems and biotech integrations
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants from federal and private sector partners
- Establish industry-wide standards for ethical AI deployment by 2026
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies in clean fusion and autonomous systems
- Present annual innovation forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years leading R&D initiatives in quantum computing or AI ethics
- Proven track record of launching products with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, EU AI Act)
- Published author in Nature/Science journals on 2030+ technology trends
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation tools
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for federal research partnerships
