Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap aligning quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable AI with market needs
- Lead cross-functional teams of 20+ engineers, researchers, and commercial strategists
- Secure $50M+ annual R&D budget through stakeholder negotiations and ROI modeling
- Pioneer industry standards for ethical AI deployment and sustainable innovation practices
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, NASA, and global innovation ecosystems
- Deliver quarterly innovation metrics to C-suite and board of directors
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Biotechnology, or related field with 10+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in futures methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Experience managing $50M+ innovation budgets and P&L responsibility
- Published research in Nature, Science, or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for frontier technologies
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global collaboration
