Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and market disruptions
- Architect next-gen product/service ecosystems with 5-7 year implementation horizons
- Champion strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Drive scenario planning and risk mitigation for future market conditions
- Mentor innovation teams and foster a culture of experimental thinking
- Present future-vision frameworks to investors and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Economics, or Strategic Innovation
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in emerging tech trends and their business applications
- Exceptional strategic communication and executive presentation skills
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Horizon Scanning methodologies preferred
- Portfolio of published future-vision frameworks or innovation roadmaps
