- Analyze future market trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation strategies with corporate vision
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
- Present strategic frameworks to investors and industry stakeholders at global forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven future-tech impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience scaling innovations from prototype to commercial deployment
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning capabilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Futures (e.g., APF, WFS)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-oriented solutions
