Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Develop quantitative and qualitative future scenarios for business disruption
- Design innovation sprints with R&D and product development teams
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders quarterly
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and industry experts
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future-proofing business models
- Author thought leadership reports on industry transformation
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, corporate foresight, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of implementing emerging tech solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning skills
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience with Delphi method, SWOT analysis, and trend impact analysis
- Portfolio of published future outlooks or innovation frameworks
