- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Develop go-to-market strategies for breakthrough 2026-era products
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with corporate vision
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget across 3-5 strategic projects
- Mentor a team of futurists and technologists in strategic thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or Business
- Strong data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (patents, whitepapers, keynotes)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
