Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum AI research roadmaps targeting 2026 breakthrough milestones
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of quantum physicists, machine learning engineers, and domain experts
- Develop novel hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for exponential computational speedups
- Secure patents and publish in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Forge strategic partnerships with quantum hardware providers and academic institutions
- Translate theoretical models into scalable production-ready quantum AI solutions
- Present findings to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record publishing quantum AI research in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction protocols
- Mastery of quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.) and AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience leading R&D teams with $10M+ budgets
- Demonstrated ability to secure government or corporate research grants
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant quantum computing roadmaps
