Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems by 2026
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization and implementation
- Research novel quantum materials and superconducting qubit technologies
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum computing methodologies
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-machine learning frameworks
- Present findings at international quantum computing symposia
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research or hardware development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and Python
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and mentor researchers
