Responsibilities
- Design quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and scalability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum algorithms and hardware-software co-design
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and gate operations
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite stakeholders and venture partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging quantum programming paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit manipulation or photonic quantum systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
